The Celia way.
I strive to provide the horses under my care with a happy and most enjoyable experience while they are spelling at Karapiro Farm.
I am surrounded by a great team of people who are also passionate about spending time with these incredible animals. I enjoy watching the horses regain their energy and thrive on the farm and following their successes on the racetrack.

Celia Corcoran,
Farm Manager
I grew up on Grangewilliam Stud in Taranaki, working in most aspects of the thoroughbred industry. I then spread my wings and headed overseas, spending 10 years in the US working as an assistant trainer, rider, breaking-in and doing yearling and breeze-up sales. Following that I moved to Australia and rode trackwork for Gai Waterhouse and John Sargent in Sydney before running a yard for the Snowdens.
I have also worked Hong Kong, Arqana, Tattersalls and Goffs breeze-up sales and Baden-Baden yearling sales. In New Zealand, I spent two years running the Waikato Stud pre-training farm and had a stint on my own, breaking-in and doing RTR horses.
My spare time is currently consumed with my two beautiful young girls. I enjoy various outdoor adventures and like to get back in the saddle when I have a chance!
